GRAFFITI

Artist Statement

I photograph graffiti not simply as art on a wall, but as a living part of the city; intertwined with its people, its trees, its streets, and the rhythms of everyday life. Rain, sunlight, time, and decay slowly transform these painted surfaces, creating new layers of texture, color, and memory.

The paint fading, cracks, oxidation, and traces of time become part of the artwork itself.

Through my lens, I seek these fleeting encounters between human expression and the natural world, where art, environment, and impermanence merge. What was once a deliberate mark becomes something unexpected: a fragment of history, slowly dissolving into the life of the city.

Together, these individual elements create a unified visual language, reminding us that every part of nature contributes to the harmony and wholeness of life. In every fragment resides the essence of the whole, revealing that unity is found not only in a complete flower or a tree, but in every living detail that surrounds and sustains it.
